Invitation package in a long, skinny rectangular envelope
Alexandra worked on a full print product wedding package for Sydney and Brian leading up to their wedding day while working at Coit Creative. Blending two very different aesthetic styles into a custom design, Alexandra worked on a crisp contemporary design while incorporating very rustic elements and tactile expressions through paper choices, typography, and hand drawn elements.
About the Design
Sydney and Brian's wedding invitation package was a custom design of hand drawn elements and modern font. Challenged to fit two very different aesthetics, the final product was a minimal and crafty combination of white linen paper and brown kraft paper. The hand drawn elements bring in a subtle imperfection and handmade quality while the crisp, bold letters bring a refinement in contrast. The final print products were a combination of brown kraft paper and white linen paper to further the contrast of handmade and refined; perfect for a couple getting married in an old stone building with new lighting and furnishings.
